Nishant, who managed to win hearts during his stint in Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 2020', was driving his SUV when another vehicle rammed his car from the wrong side. The actor had a narrow escape as he and his friends didn't get injured.
Nishant further said that the person who rammed into his car fled from the accident spot. He revealed that the incident took place on New Year's eve at 11.59pm.
"It’s quite shocking to know that this took place sharp at 11.59 pm, just a minute before the entire world was waiting for the clock to strike 12 and celebrate the new year," Malkhani told Jaipur Times.
This was Nishant Singh Malkhani's first ever road trip and he will never forget it now. His mother got emotional after hearing the news of the mishap. He promised to visit Delhi soon to meet her so that she can see that he is fine.
The 'Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi' actor also told the daily that he had planned to extend his stay after wrapping up work and celebrate the New Year in the deserts of Rajasthan.
On the professional front, Nishant will be next seen in a web film titled 'LAC'. He shot for the project in Kargil in extreme weather conditions.
Nishant's eviction from 'Bigg Boss 14' set several tongues wagging as he was one of the most popular TV stars on the show. He was evicted from the reality show along with Kavita Kaushik in a surprise 'double elimination'. His fans even requested the makers to bring him as a wild card contestant.
