The next season of 'Bigg Boss 13' is around the corner as host Salman Khan recently shot for it's promo. The various names of the celebrities who are expected to be contestants of BB 13 are also making rounds and while the fans wait, the makers are promoting the show on social media with tweets using former winners and provoking fans to indulge in #BB13War. One such tweet was posted by the verified handle of Colors TV comparing the Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde with Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar. The tweet reads - "All you #BiggBoss fans, here's a tricky question for you! If #ShilpaShinde and @ms_dipika were in the same season of #BiggBoss, who do you think would have won? #BB13 Tweet using #BB13War and let us know! :)". No prize for guessing that the war did start and the fans are battling on Twitter defending their favorite actress. While 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' actress Shilpa has been away from the small screen, the 'Sasural Simar Ka' fame Dipika is currently playing lead in 'Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum' opposite Karan Grover.


While it is indeed interesting to compare the two popular TV actresses and wonder who would win if they were to participate together, check out what Shilpa Shinde has to say on this.

“Well, good question, but even if she does win, it is OK, for she copied me during her stay, and as they say, imitation is the best form of flattery.” -is what Shilpa's reaction was when IWMBuzz asked her about the tweet.

Shilpa hasn't been active on social media for past 6-7 months.

When Dipika took charge of the kitchen inside BB 12, Shilpa had then also slammed the actress in her interview with TOI. She had siad- "I would tell Dipika to come out of her shell. I think she's not real and mostly pretending. She should not take her bahu image so seriously. She can't win a show by taking charge of the kitchen. I think they have started believing that one who's busy cooking ends up winning the show because I was mostly seen in the kitchen during my season. However, a lot more is required than just that. Unlike her, I was aggressive and didn't try to be nice from day 1."

Even when Dipika lifted the Bigg Boss 12 trophy, Shilpa had taken a dig at her winning BB 12, tweeting - "Aajkal sabhi product banavati aate Hain.. yaha Tak makkhi maarne ke bhi.. Suna Hain show ke makers ne bhi milavati product ko promote karna shuru Kar Diya.. Makkhi pura season bhunbhunati rahi aakhir main Makkhi Jeet gayi Isliye trophy bhi break ho gai !!!"

She added in another tweet- "Deepika ko pata chalega Itna rone ke baad bhi show flop thaa... bichari koi baat nahi .. khilona pakada diya".

Shocked by Shilpa's reaction, Dipika had then reacted to it by telling Spotboye - "I have no clue why she is upset with me. I did get to know about this a few minutes back while talking to people. Maybe she has her own reasons. She may have not liked my journey. It's her perspective and view."

Well, as Bigg Boss 13 approaches near, the makers have quiet aptly used the two winners to create some buzz and have rightly succeeded in doing so too.

When asked why does she think BB 12 did not perform upto the mark, Shilpa tells Iwmbuzz: "There were several reasons. Firstly, the success of our avatar had really raised the bar; and things do tend to go awry when too many expectations are stacked against you. Also, I think the contestants (Karanvir Bohra and Srishty Rode) themselves were too scared of their public image to really let go, which the format requires."
