Abhinav opened up on the whole incident to entertainment portal SpotboyE and said that he is still recovering from the shocking incident that was disturbing for him and it still continues to be even after getting bail. He added that it would take some time for him to get back to normal.
Abhinav also revealed that he has met wife Shweta Tiwari after coming out from jail but refrained from divulging further details.
The SpotboyE report added that Abhinav Kohli was present at the screening of a Short film "CHEETIYAN" featuring Vinay Jaiswal & Akhlaque Khan was accompanied by his mother Poonam Kohli.
When Abhinav was questioned by the portal if he was fine? The actor answered, “ I am recovering.” Further, when asked if this event was disturbing for him, Abhinav answered, “ It is, very, for me, it is not over yet it's still on.” Further on when the actor was asked if he was back to normal life? He answered, “ I am back to life for sure but normalcy will take some time, a little bit.”
When Abhinav was asked if he met Shweta Tiwari after coming out? He said, “Yes, I have met her,” On asking Abhinav what Shweta Tiwari said? The actor was interrupted by his mother Poonam Kohli, who added, “It is a family matter,” to which Abhinav responded with, “ I’ll talk about it later.”
On a related note, Abhinav’s mother had earlier too revealed that not all is well between the actor and his wife Shweta Tiwari from the past two years. Poonam Kohli also made a shocking claim that Shweta Tiwari wanted to divorce his son and so she was making false claims against him, in an interview to Times Of India.
Meanwhile, a complaint had been registered againt Abhinav Kohli under section 354-A, 323, 504, 506, 509 of the IPC. According to the police report Abhinav has been accused of outraging the modesty of his step daughter and showing her inappropriate pictures on his phone.
