Bigg Boss 12: Salman Khan to shoot for show’s promo in August, finale to air in December?

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has started shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat, is all set to comeback with the twelfth season of Bigg Boss on Colors TV. We had previously informed you that Bigg Boss 12 in all probability will start airing on the channel from September 16 post the culmination of Madhuri Dixit’s Dance Deewane. The show usually airs in the month of October but this year it has been preponed and will air in September. As per the latest buzz, the Salman has blocked his dates to shoot for the promos of BB 12. The ‘Race 3’ star, who is also hosting Dus Ka Dum 3 on Sony TV, has a jam-packed schedule. A report in a leading daily suggested that he will shoot the promos for Bigg Boss 12 in the first week of August. “Salman has already blocked his dates to shoot the promotional videos in the first week of August. They will be shot at Mehboob Studios. As per current discussions, the Bigg Boss 12 finale will happen around the last week of December,’’ a source told Mumbai Mirror. We had previously informed that Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 will be pushed to next year. KKK 9 will now launch in January at the weekend 9pm slot on Colors TV, the report added. For the first time, a participant will enter the BB house along with his/her partner. Work on the sets of the show in Lonavala has already started. Dabangg Khan will be juggling between the shooting of Bigg Boss 12 and ‘Bharat’, the report said. Speculations are rife that popular TV couples like Shoaib Ibrahim & Dipika Kakar, Rithvik Dhanjani & Asha Negi, Niketan Dheer & Kratika Sengar have been approached to participate in the show. Several names are floating in the internet and we have to wait for some more time to see which celebrity will enter the show. The last season of Bigg Boss proved to be a massive success and set the TRP ratings on fire despite its late night slot. Shilpa Shinde lifted the winner's trophy while Hina Khan and Vikas Gupta were declared as the first and second runner up respectively. Watch this space for more updates!
