Bigg Boss 12: Here's how Salman Khan plans to promote Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero on his show

Bigg Boss 12 is all set to hit the airwaves from September 16 on Colors TV and fans couldn’t be happier. The makers of the popular reality had a grand launch in Goa a few days back and host Salman Khan revealed that Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice to replace Amitabh Bachchan as the show’s host. SRK couldn’t host the show due to his shoulder injury and the ‘Bharat’ actor became the face of Bigg Boss. The controversial reality show is the perfect platform for Bollywood stars to promote their films. Various tinsel town biggies have promoted their about to release films on Bigg Boss and this season won’t be any different. Speculations are rife that Salman Khan will go out of his way to promote his close friend SRK’s next film ‘Zero’. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that the biggest promotions have been reserved for the Aanand L Rai directorial. “Salman has said that Zero will be promoted very aggressively on the show. It is his best friend Shah Rukh’s film and they want to go all out. SRK will be making an appearance on the show, not once but twice. He will come early in December and then when the release date is closer,” a source told BollywoodLife. Interestingly, the ‘Race 3’ star is thinking to say lines starting with word zero so as to create momentum for the film, the report added. Salman has a cameo role in ‘Zero’ and was even seen in the film’s teaser. The one-minute-21-second video clip had managed to create anticipation among the movie buffs. Talking about ‘Zero’, the film which stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is slated to hit the silver screens on December 21. Salman and Shah Rukh weaved magic when they were last seen together in Bigg Boss 10 and Bigg Boss 9 and we just can’t wait to see their camaraderie in BB 12. Watch this space for more updates!
