After 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai', Sony TV’ 'Patiala Babes' is rumoured to go off air.

New Delhi: Sony TV is gearing up for the launch of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’ next month. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will continue to host the quiz based reality show. The channel will be axing ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ to make way for ‘KBC 11’. The show starring Randeep Rai and Ashi Singh as Sameer and Naina respectively is set in the era of 90s. Ardent fans of the show became disappointed after the news of the show going off air hit the internet. Ashi Singh had confirmed yesterday that ‘YUDKBH’ will go off air next month. The fans are requesting the channel to give the show an extension and they have started a hashtag campaign on Twitter to save their favorite show.

Sony TV recently pulled the plug on ‘Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo’. The channel will also axe ‘Ladies Special 2’ to make room for ‘KBC 11’. As per the latest buzz, another popular Sony TV show will bid adieu to the viewers. We are talking about ‘Patiala Babes’. A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that ‘Patiala Babes’ will go off air soon. The show, which was launched on November 27 last year, stars Paridhi Sharma, Ashnoor Kaur and Anirudh Dave in lead roles. It focuses on the strong bond between a mother and daughter. ‘Patiala Babes’ has received critical acclaim for its storyline and performances from the actors. The show was shifted to 8:30pm slot from July 15. It used to air originally at 9pm slot.

The report in the portal said that the last date of the show has not been declared yet but it is certain that ‘Patiala Babes’ will be pulled off air “Patiala Babes will go off air very soon. Though the closure date is not declared yet, it is pretty certain that the show will go off air,” a source told IWMBuzz. Watch this space for more updates!
