The Supreme Court turned down the petition filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh. In the petition, Priyanka requested the cancellation of the case filed against her on Rhea Chakraborty’s complaint.

Rhea Chakraborty accused Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters of changing the ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s medicines through the wrong prescription. After the Bombay High Court rejected Priyanka Singh’s plea in this case, the latter knocked on the doors of the Supreme Court. Now, according to the latest update, the SC has also rejected Priyanka Singh’s plea and has refused to quash the case filed on Rhea Chakraborty’s complaint.

The Bombay High Court ruled that the allegations made against Priyanka Singh are worth investigating. The court further said that no case should be made against one of SSR’s sisters Meetu Singh. Today, the matter was taken up in a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde. Senior advocate Vikas Singh, appearing for Priyanka, said that Rhea had filed this false case in response to the allegations levelled against her in the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Vikas Singh also demanded that if there is a case that is to be investigated, then it should be by the CBI only. The advocate further added that it shouldn’t happen as such that the Maharashtra police also start investigating due to confusion about the situation. The court, however, refused to give any kind of order. The Chief Justice said that he does not feel any need to interfere in the order of the High Court.
