New Delhi: The 67th National Film Awards took place on March 22, 2021, where Sushant Singh Rajput’s movie ‘Chhichhore’ bagged the Best Feature Film (Hindi) award. Though this talented actor left for his heavenly abode last year on June 14, 2020, his fans still cannot forget him and the fantastic performances that he has left behind.
As soon as ‘Chhichhore’ was announced as the Best Feature Film in the National Film Awards, fans started missing the actor and started paying tribute to the ‘Kedarnath’ actor.
SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti also took to her Twitter and shared a heartfelt note for her late brother.
The note read, “'Chhichhore' wins National Film Award.” Bhai, I know you are watching, but I wish you were there to receive the award. Not a single day passes when I don’t feel proud of you. #ChhichhoreBagsNationalAward #SushantOurHero”.
She also shared a photograph of a memorial of Sushant in another tweet. The tweet read, “He lives on... his name lives on... his essence lives on! That is the impact of a pure soul! You are God’s own child my baby... you will always live on... #ForeverSushant”.
Meanwhile, on a related note, Kangana Ranaut also won the National Award for Best Actress for the fourth time for her films ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ and ‘Panga’. Manoj Bajpayee and Dhanush won the Best Actor for ‘Bhosle’ and ‘Asuran’ respectively.
