New Delhi: The death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs ever since the investigation was transferred to the CBI. The ‘Chhichhore’ actor breathed his last on June 14, 2020, and since then, the investigation of his death case is still going on. The case was transferred to the CBI after SSR’s father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others at Patna Police Station for the abetment of his son’s suicide.


Rhea Chakraborty also filed a complaint against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters for changing SSR’s medicines through the wrong prescription. Rajput’s sister Priyanka filed a petition post that requesting the cancellation of the case filed against her on the ‘Jalebi’ actress’ complaint.

Now, according to the latest update, the Supreme Court has rejected to quash the case filed on Rhea Chakraborty’s complaint against Priyanka Singh.


After the judgement was passed, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde released a statement and expressed his faith in the Judicial system of India.


The statement read as quoted saying by SpotboyE, “We are overwhelmed by the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Justice Prevails in India. We bow down to the Judicial System in our Country. Truth Alone Triumphs. Satya Mev Jayate.”


Meanwhile, on the professional front, Rhea Chakraborty was last seen starring in the 2018 movie ‘Jalebi’. She will be next seen starring in ‘Chehre’ which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.
