Superband BTS To Release Their Own Book Titled Beyond The Story In July

BTS' book 'Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record of BTS' is structured as an oral history of the K-Pop quintet.

New Delhi: BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan, and journalist Myeongseok Kang are all set to publish a book titled 'Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record of BTS'. The book will be released for the first time on July 9, 2023.

On June 13, 2023, the K-pop group will mark the tenth anniversary of their debut.

According to the New York Times, 'Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS', which will have 544 pages and be structured as an oral history of the K-Pop quintet, will be 544 pages long.  Anton Hur, Clare Richards, and Slin Jung worked together to translate it into English. Big Hit Music will publish the book in Korea.

After American bookstores became aware of a mystery title with a July 9 release date and an initial print run of 1 million copies, rumours have been flying about for the past several days about the potential that either BTS or Taylor Swift will publish a new book.

As rumours spread, preorders helped the still-untitled book climb the bestseller lists on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

BTS declared in June of last year that they were taking a break due to pressure and the need to zero in on their individual artistic endeavours. Jin, the band's oldest member, enlisted in the military in December; J-Hope did likewise in April. To maintain the nation's capacity to repel a potential attack by North Korea, with which it is still technically at war, all able-bodied men in South Korea under the age of 30 are required to serve for a period of between 18 and 21 months.

BTS has contributed to K-pop's rise to fame as a major global force by releasing nine albums and six EPs since 2013. The group originally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart in 2018 with 'Love Yourself: Tear', a feat it replicated again in 2019 with 'Love Yourself: Answer' and 'Map of the Soul: Persona', tying a record set by the Beatles.
