SS Rajamouli Meets Hollywood Filmmaker Steven Spielberg, Says 'I Just Met God'
The director of 'RRR' went to Twitter to show photos of himself with the iconic director Steven Spielberg. He captioned the photo, "I just met GOD!"
New Delhi: S.S. Rajamouli has been in the United States for quite some time now, presumably to soak up the acclaim that has been heaped upon his film ‘RRR’. The film's song "Naatu Naatu" went on to win the Golden Globe for Best Original Song after the director won the New York Film Critics Circle's Best Director award. The director was overjoyed to create yet another unforgettable moment by meeting legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg, among the many of his fantasies that had come true.

Composer MM Keeravani of Naatu Naatu, who has won an Oscar for his work, shared some photos of himself and Spielberg on Twitter. MM Keeravani wrote, "Had the privilege of meeting the God of movies and say in his ears that I love his movies including DUEL like anything.”
In the next tweet, he also said that the filmmaker adores the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song by ‘RRR’. Keeravani wrote, And I couldn’t believe it when he said he liked Naatu Naatu,” accompanied by many heart and prayer emojis.
Spielberg also had a successful night at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, winning the prize for Best Director in Motion Picture for his semi-autobiographical film ‘The Fabelmans’.
The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has also been shortlisted for an Academy Award in the category of "Original Song". Ram Charan has said that he and Jr NTR would definitely dance on stage if the film wins the Oscar. The official nomination list for the Oscars will be announced on January 24, 2023.
Meanwhile, 'RRR' is a popular choice among audiences in the USA and has amassed a great fan following. Despite being released on Netflix, the film was also released in theatres in the USA on popular demand to fully-sold theatres. 'RRR' was also released in Japan and is still running in theatres there. 'RRR' has created history in Japan by becoming the most successful Indian film to be released in theatres.
