Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to tie the knot soon. As per reports, the two will get married on December 4 at Annapurna Studios. Their engagement happened on August 8, 2024, on an auspicious day. Recently, in an interaction, Nagarjuna revealed how he indirectly played cupid to their love while also talking about how fond he is of Sobhita.

Nagarjuna revealed that he liked Sobhita's performance in the 2018 film 'Goodachari' and he called her up 'immediately' to tell her that he was impressed with it. "I invited her to meet me the next time she was in Hyderabad. She later came home to meet me, and we had some wonderful conversations — not just about films but life in general. Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that’s when they met for the first time if I remember correctly,” he told TOI in an interaction.

The Telugu star also added that his soon-to-be daughter-in-law's journey has been inspiring, as she worked very hard to get where she is and to create a niche for herself in the industry. “She’s worked incredibly hard to achieve her dreams, starting from Vizag and carving out a niche for herself in the industry. She’s a brilliant actress who has stayed true to her values and craft. More than that, she’s very warm and grounded,” he added.

Also adding that the bond she and Chaitanya share is 'unmistakable' and claims that it makes him 'very happy'.

Chaitanya and Sobhita will get married at his family-owned Annapurna Studios on December 4, 2024, reportedly. The wedding will be a close-knit affair with only their closest friends and family in attendance. The Akkineni and Daggubati families, besides Sobhita's parents and relatives, will be present. The wedding ceremony will be full-Telugu traditional style and Sobhita will be wearing traditional Andhra weaves.
