Mohanlal Gets A Kiss From Mammootty At Award Show. SRK Calls Him OG 'Zinda Banda' As He Dances To The Song

New Delhi: Malayalam movies superstars Mohanlal and Mamootty are not just on a roll to do diverse roles. They also know show to create any event into a mega event worth remembering. Mohanlal was most recently seen dancing to Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zinda Banda' song at an award show in Kochi. A video of the megastar grooving to the Anirudh Ravichander song from 'Jawan' is going viral on social media. Another clip of Mammootty giving a kiss to Mohanlal, from whom he receives an award is also doing the rounds on social media. Soon after, Mohanlal's video went viral, Shah Rukh Khan also commented on the video calling him 'OG Superstar'.

Mohanlal dancing to Zinda Banda

On Mohalal's fan page on X, the video has been going viral and creating quite a storm on Twitter (X). In the video, we see the actor wearing a cheetah-printed shirt with brown jacket and pants. The Malayali superstar is seen grooving to the song energetically. The 63-year-old looked dapper as he did the hook step of the song.

 

Mohanlal also danced to Rajinikanth's song 'Hukum' from 'Jailer', which has also been composed by Anirudh. Mohanlal was most recently seen in Dilipkumar's Tamil action comedy from last year.

Meanwhile, another incident that caught everyone' attention was Mammootty receiving the Best Actor award from Mohanlal. Durig his acceptance speech, Mammootty said, "I've been in the industry for over 43 years. In this period, I've had a companion who has travelled with me. The person I am talking about is Mohanlal. He is a skilled actor, he is a magician. He can perform and dance. He tries to make everything perfect.”

Mammootty then gave Mohanlal a kiss on the cheek, and the Drishyam actor returned the favour.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan responded to Mohalal's video on his official Instagram page and wrote, "Thank u @mohanlal sir for making this song the most special for me now. Wish I had done it half as good as you. Love u sir and waiting for dinner at home as and when. You are the Og Zinda Banda!"

Mohanlal also responded to SRK's post on Twitter and wrote, "Dear @iamsrk, nobody can do it like you! You are and always will be the OG Zinda Banda in your classic, inimitable style. Thanks for your kind words.  Also, just dinner? Why not groove to some Zinda Banda over breakfast, too?."

Meanwhile, Mohanlal has begun shooting for Tharun Moorthy's film 'L360'. The film went on floors on Monday. He will reunite with Shobana for his 360th film. 

Mohanlal is also seen in actor Prithiviraj Sukumaran's upcoming directorial 'L2E: Empuraan'. 

Helmed by Prithviraj, the film starring Mohanlal is a sequel to the 2019 film 'Lucifer'.
