The positive word of mouth contributed to the box office numbers for the film ‘Kushi’ and the film might gain momentum in the coming days with the box office performance.
The Shiva Nirvana-helmed film will face stiff competition on September 7 with the release of Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Jawan’. The Atlee-helmed film, which will be released widely in Tamil and Telugu, is set to break records, as per early trends.
Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Kushi’ is now screening in the cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The review of the film on ABP Live reads: Directed by Shiva Nirvana of ‘Majili’ fame, 'Kushi' is a slow-burn, feel-good, old world charm romantic film that feels outdated, problematic, too formulaic and cringe on so many levels. 'Kushi' revolves around a marriage between two people( Vijay Deverakonda as Viplav and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Aaradhya) representing polar opposite ideologies and what happens post the 'happily ever after'.
