New Delhi: According to reports doing the rounds, not just Kareena Kapoor, but Kiara Advani has also been cast in a significant role in the upcoming Yash starrer 'Toxic'. Initially announced last year, 'Toxic' marks Yash's first project following the highly anticipated 'KGF 2.'

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film has been the subject of speculation regarding its female lead since its title announcement last year. While recent reports suggested Kareena's involvement, a new claim now states that Kiara has also signed on for the project.

Kareena Kapoor and Kiara Advani roped in for Yash starrer 'Toxic'

A source disclosed to Pinkvilla that Kiara will portray a pivotal character in the film, which is said to feature three leading actresses. "The film will showcase three actresses, with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani already confirmed. However, the official announcement will be made at the appropriate time," the insider stated, also revealing that Kareena's role in the film will be as Yash's sister.

Amid ongoing casting deliberations, rumors have swirled about Shruti Haasan's potential involvement in the project, particularly since she lent her voice to the theme of 'Toxic.'

Although official confirmations are still pending, the prospect of such a talented and star-studded cast is certainly exciting for a project like 'Toxic.' If Kareena indeed joins the cast, it would mark her debut in a South Indian film.
