New Delhi: Two Indian films debuted in the top 10 list of the biggest films in North America theatres this week for the first time this year. The Telugu movie ‘Tillu Square’ occupied the eighth position, while the Hindi movie ‘Crew’ secured the ninth rank.
South film critic and trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the update on his official X handle and wrote, “Tillanna's beats take over the worldwide box office. 🔥 The 𝑫𝑶𝑼𝑩𝑳𝑬 𝑩𝑳𝑶𝑪𝑲𝑩𝑼𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑹 #TilluSquare debuted at No. 8 in the US box office and the eventful party at the theatres by Tillu is set to smash records! 💥🤘.”
Mallik Ram's film ‘Tillu Square’ is a follow-up to 'DJ Tillu'. It made $1.8 million its first weekend of business. Neha Shetty, and Siddhu Jonnalagadda are the lead actors in the film.
Tillu Square Box Office
Siddhu Jonnalagadda reprised his role from the first film 'DJ Tillu' released in 2022. 'Tillu Square' is the sequel to the 2022 film. 'Tillu Square' released in 450 thetares across North America and has collected a fross of $1.83 million, Deadline reported.
'Tillu Square' collected Rs. 43 cr in its opening weekend and is set to enter the Rs. 50 cr club globally. The film continues to do well in the domestic and international markets both and is expected to cross Rs. 100 cr soon.
The film collected Rs. 28 cr plus within three days of release and continues to do well on weekdays, Deccan Chronicle reported.

On the other hand, 'Crew' directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan made $1.5 million. 'Crew' starring Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Kareena Kapoor, has largely received positive reviews from both reviewers and viewers.
