Shiva Rajkumar Talks About Health Struggles, Assures Fans He's On Road To Recovery
In a recent interview, Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar opened up about his health, sharing details about an upcoming surgery.
New Delhi: Shiva Rajkumar, a Kannada cinema superstar who has starred in 'Om', 'Vajrakaya', and 'Nammoora Mandara Hoove', has confirmed that he has health issues. As he promoted his next film, Narthan's ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’, the actor gave a candid interview on a YouTube channel about his treatment.
Shiva Rajkumar said (in Kannada) that he still is still going through therapy sessions. The actor said, “I am also a human being, and I have a health issue. It has come, and I am taking treatment for it. I have about four sessions of treatment to complete.”
In spite of his health problems, the actor is determined to fulfill his work commitments, which include attending promotions.
After two more sessions, Shiva Rajkumar is expected to undergo surgery in the US, and he'll need a month to recover from it. He made it clear that his directors and producers were aware of his illness, and he decided to go public in order to clear up any confusion.
"I panicked when I first learned about it, and I don't want people to worry. After that, I gained the confidence to face it. Now, it's getting better. There is no need to worry," the star reassured his admirers.
Shiva Rajkumar's Upcoming Film
On November 15, 2024, Shiva Rajkumar's highly anticipated film ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ will be released. Geetha Pictures' film features Rahul Bose, Chaya Singh, and Devaraj, among others, in significant roles. Its original release date was August 15, 2024, however, it has since been rescheduled to premiere in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
