Kalki 2898 AD Global Box Office Collection Day 1: Prabhas Starrer To Deliver Third-best Opening Day Haul, Might Gross Rs 200 Crore

Kalki 2898 AD Global Box Office Collection: Prabhas starrer dystopian sci-fi movie might bring in much to Rs 200 crore.

Kalki 2898 AD Global Box Office Collection: Prabhas starrer magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is eying a tremendous opening at the global box office. Industry tracker Sacnilk estimates that on its first day of worldwide release, the dystopian sci-fi movie might bring in much to Rs 200 crore.

Director Nag Ashwin’s pan-India film will release in theatres this week and the advance bookings for the first day is rising rapidly. This would rank as the third-best opening day haul of all time in addition to setting a record for 2024. Three of the top five largest openings ever could go to Prabhas if these estimates come true. 

Sacnilk posted, “Kalki 2898 AD is expected to take the opening of ₹120-140 crore gross in India. In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the movie is expected to open in the range of ₹90-100 crore. In North India, it is expected to take an opening of around ₹20 crore while Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala are likely to give a ₹15+ crore start to the movie.” 

The North American distributor of 'Kalki', Prathyangira Cinemas, shared on social media that 125,000 tickets had been sold, bringing in almost 2.7 million dollars.

'Kalki' is noteworthy for being the first Indian movie to be played on all 210 IMAX screens. It is being released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi in Kalki 2898 AD 2D and 3D versions. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the sci-fi movie stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is releasing on June 27.
