The film directed by Parasuram Petla is Vijay and the director's second film together; they previously worked together on ‘Geetha Govindam’. Meanwhile, following Sita Ramam (2022) and Hi Nanna (2023), this will mark Mrunal’s third Telugu film.

Parasuram penned the screenplay for ‘Family Star’, while Gopi Sundar composed the score and KU Mohanan operated the camera. The film has been postponed from its original Sankranti release date until next month, as producers decided to wait for post-production to wrap it.
