Aranmanai 4 Twitter Review: Sundar C's fourth installment in his horror franchise, Aranmanai 4, hit theaters on Friday, also known as Baak in Telugu. Starring Sundar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Raashii Khanna in pivotal roles, the film garnered mostly favorable reviews from fans on X (formerly Twitter). However, some critiques were directed towards the film's comedy, citing it as outdated.

First Blockbuster of Kollywood in 2024

Sharing his review of the film, one user wrote, "Aranmanai 4 is technically brilliant,VFX and CG works are so good. Its the Best movie of Aranmanai Franchise. This movie focuses mostly on serious tone instead of having more comedy scenes.Comedy scenes are good. But its more of a horror film.#SundarC as a Filmmaker gave a comeback with this movie. @hiphoptamizha's BGM is great. His music with the tension building screenplay contributed a lot to this movie's success.Special mention #Tamannaah she is the soul of the movie. Her performance is great.Preclimax comedy scene is ultimate.Climax gave Goosebumps.Overall a Theatre worthy Entertainer that should not be missed.

Grand Theatrical Experience

Another user wrote, "I Don't Expect This From #SundarC Maams  He Delivered A Grand Theatrical Experience Movie . Making Lam Bayangarama Irukku, Especially Climax Amman Song  #Tamannaah Nailed It  #RaashiKhanna Good Role  #HiphopTamizha Music +++ "

Hailing Sundar C's performance, one X user wrote, "Bro has literally proved once again that only a Commercial Flick with masala elements can only satisfy and entertain the Audience across years and age."

Slow start and repetitive story

While the horror elements, apart from the performances, seem to have worked in Aranmanai 4's favour, it looks like many weren’t impressed by the comedy. One X user wrote, “Familiar scares & laughs, but uneven pacing & recycled plot hold it back. Strong 2nd half , impressive visuals & decent performances. Slow start, a repetitive story, and a weak 1st half. Watch for cameos & spooky fun!”

Another wrote, “#SundarC keeps us engaging till the interval with back to back horror elements more than comedy scenes,” adding, “Few comedy scenes works & few felt very outdated.” But most agreed the film was entertaining nonetheless.
