In keeping with the holy month of Sawan, Sonu captioned his post with “Har Har Mahadev,” a nod to Lord Shiva — for whom snakes are considered sacred. The video quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section in admiration.
Honoured With Miss World Humanitarian Award
Sonu Sood was also recently recognised with the Miss World Humanitarian Award. He received the honour from actor Rana Daggubati, and proudly posed with the trophy in photos shared on Instagram. In his post, the Fateh actor wrote: “This award belongs to every mother who prayed for a bus to take her child home, to every student who couldn’t afford education but never gave up dreaming, and to every migrant who walked miles yet never lost faith. Grateful and humbled to receive the Miss World Humanitarian Award. This is for every heart that cares.”
On the work front, Sonu was last seen in Fateh, an action thriller he also directed. The film stars Naseeruddin Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya alongside him.
