It was stressed by Shamita that family members should provide encouragement and support for those who are experiencing these difficulties. Even after suffering from depression, the actress takes care of herself. She said, “I have to be aware every day; I look for signs. I make conscious efforts to not do things that can take me back into that phase. So that awareness helps me.”
In the end, Shilpa Shetty being an adoring sister, said she was "proud" of her for speaking openly about her mental health in public.
