Rashami Desai- Umar Riaz Trolling Controversy: Neha Bhasin Asks Fans For Compassion
Rashami and Umar shared a good rapport on reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 15'. They often posted Instagram reels with each other and hung out in a group of friends.
New Delhi: Rashami Desai became a prime target of online trolling as she commented on her personal life in a recent interview. She also hinted that Umar Riaz might not be single. The trolling from Riaz's fan clubs led Rashami to seek help from Mumbai Police's cyber cell on Wednesday.
Now, Rashami's good friend, singer Neha Bhasin has come out to support her. "I know fandoms only mean well. But sometimes, let individuals find their own relationships with each other. Public figures have the same heart as you. When their heart breaks and it’s public, the pain is deeper. Have compassion. Lov you (sic).” Neha posted on her Instagram story.
Umar also took to Twitter to support Rashmi and wrote, "Guys everyone needs to relax. Me and rashmi both are good friends. I want you all to respect that. You guys have been showering us so much love, so this negativity is not required. Plz spread love and not hatred. 🙏 (sic)”

While Rashami has clarified earlier that she and Umar are just friends, Riaz's fans took online trolling to another level on Wednesday after Rashami said in the interview, "Umar might be having someone in his life as he is a very private person. We respect each other’s boundaries. I understand people love to see me with Umar, and I respect that. We are just friends and the kind of bond we have is where we keep fighting a lot and having disagreements…though we fight the friendship is always the same." Umar's fans did not appreciate Rashami sharing details about his personal life.
In response, Rashami wrote to the Cybercrime division of Mumbai Police on Twitter. Check out her Tweet:
