Ranbir Kapoor To Take A Long Break After ‘Animal’ To Do His Daddy Duties

After the release of 'Brahmastra', Alia Bhatt did not commit to any film projects; now it seems that father-to-be Ranbir is considering doing the same.

New Delhi: Bollywood's most loved duo Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. The newlyweds have all the time in the world to devote to their newborn child after their wedding. It has been reported that Ranbir Kapoor would be taking a sabbatical from his acting career and will not be signing on for a new film in order to spend more time with his wife and newborn child.

According to E-Times, following the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, Ranbir Kapoor would take a ‘pause from professional commitments’, during which he will not agree to do any further projects.

The entertainment website reports that the film's shooting will restart in the middle of October and that Ranbir is eager to wrap up the filming as soon as possible. Pan-Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna and Bollywood star Anil Kapoor are also appearing in the lead role in the film.

Meanwhile, Ranbir has recently wrapped production of the untitled Luv Ranjan film starring Shraddha Kapoor.

Talking about his recent work, Ranbir was last seen in ‘Brahmastra’. Ayan Mukerji's film was Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's debut film together. Apart from them, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and Amitabh Bachchan had significant parts in the film. After 'Brahmastra', Alia Bhatt did not commit to any more film projects; now it seems that father-to-be Ranbir is considering doing the same.
