New Delhi: Ram Charan is in the USA to attend the Academy Awards 2023. His film RRR's song 'Naatu Naatu' has been nominated for the Best Original Song category for Oscars. The actor is expected to attend many promotional events ahead of the Awards night. It has also been reported that he will be appearing as a guest on the popular talk show, Good Morning America, which airs on ABC at 11:30 PM as per Indian Standard Time.
Well, Ram Charan will be creating history by becoming the first Telugu actor to appear on the talk show. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra has appeared on the show several times.
As per reports, Ram Charan will talk about his acting journey, the success of 'RRR' across countries and their Oscar nomination for 'Naatu Naatu'. 'The song already won big at the Golden Globes where its composer MM Keeravani was felicitated.
Soon after the news began circulating, Ram Charan fans shared their excitement on various social media platforms.
The actor will also be presenting at the 6th annual Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) awards, as per reports about his US schedule.
On Tuesday, Ram Charan was spotted at the Hyderabad airport heading to the US.
Instead of the usual stylised gladrags that stars are clicked in at airports, the actor was seen walking barefoot dressed in a black kurta-pajama.
The Tollywood star is known for his devout nature and piety. He regularly observes the rituals associated with the Sabarimala temple in Kerala. Devotees who embark on this pilgrimage are supposed to follow a pure and simple code of conduct, which includes walking barefoot and wearing black clothes.
Earlier too, at the time of the release of his film 'RRR', Ram Charan had been seen going about barefoot and dressed in black at various promotional events.
Twitterati couldn't help praising Ram Charan for his humility and piety even when jetting off to foreign lands.
The Rajamouli-helmed 'RRR' is eyeing an award in the best song category at the Oscars next month for the track 'Naatu Naatu', which features Ram Charan and his co-lead star NTR Jr.
