Rajkummar Rao And Patralekhaa Buy Juhu Apartment From Janhvi Kapoor For Rs 44 crore

Actor Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekhaa are now the proud owners of a luxurious triplex flat in Juhu, Mumbai. The couple has reportedly bought the apartment from Janhvi Kapoor for Rs 44 crore.

New Delhi: Actor Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekhaa are now the proud owners of a luxurious triplex flat in Juhu, Mumbai. The couple has reportedly bought the apartment from Janhvi Kapoor for Rs 44 crore.   

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Janhvi bought the apartment in December 2020 for Rs 39 crore. The flat, on the 14th 15th, and 16th floors of one of the buildings in the Juhu-Vile Parle Development Scheme is spread over 3,456 sq. ft and reportedly offers 6 parking slots. 

The deal between the couple and Janhvi was finalised on March 31, 2022, although it was only officially registered on July 21, 2022. The new owners paid Rs 2.19 crore in stamp duty, while Janhvi had paid Rs 78 lakh for the same, the report further stated. The difference between the stamp duty is because of the state government's 3% rebate granted to property buyers between September 2020 and December 2020 to encourage construction in the city. 

Ranveer Singh’s recent purchase 
Recently, Ranveer Singh purchased an apartment in Mumbai's posh Bandra neighbourhood in the super-premium residential tower Sagar Resham for a whopping amount of Rs 119 crore. This makes it one of the most expensive buys for a single residential unit anywhere in the nation. 

According to the Economic Times, the apartment is situated between Salman Khan's house Galaxy and Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat on the same stretch of land.  

The apartment, according to the report, is located on the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th floors of the skyscraper. Carpeted space totals 11,266 sq ft, with a unique private patio of 1,300 sq ft, in this luxurious house. The purchase is worth about Rs. 1 lakh per sq. ft. 

The company has also paid Rs 7.13 crore in stamp duty. The deal is said to have been completed in two distinct transactions. Additionally, Ranveer will be given access to a total of 19 parking spaces in the building.
