Rajinikanth's Jailer Fever: Chennai, Bengaluru Offices Declare Holiday, Offer Free Tickets To Employees

Jailer is set to be the first film of Rajinikanth to be released in two years.

The movie Jailer is a celebration for all 'Thalaivar' Superstar Rajinikanth fans already. However, the celebration has gone a step ahead at places including Chennai and Bengaluru where offices have announced leave for their employees to watch Jailer on the day of its release on Thursday. A few other companies have also gone ahead by handing over free tickets to their employees.

It can be noted that this is the first film of Rajinikanth to be released in two years. The action-packed dark comedy entertainer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is set to release on August 10.

The first show of the movie will screen at 9 AM in Chennai. While the movie is to be released in two days, fans have already started a countdown on social media, reported Hindustan Times.

A tweet of a company's holiday announcement has went viral on social media. The notice said that the holiday was declared on account of the release of Superstar Rajini's movie 'Jailer' on August 10 in order to avoid leave requests piling up to HR Department.

The notice from Uno Aqua Care said, "We also take privilege of going extra mile to support antipiracy by providing free tickets for the former to UNO Aqua employees."

The notice said that the order was applicable even to branches including Chennai, Bangalore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Mattuthavani, Arapalayam and Alagappan Nagar.

Jailer stars Mohanlal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Yogi Babu, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff and Shivarajkumar.

Rajinikanth plays the role of 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, a soft spoken person who may turn into a God of justice, when required. He is a police officer and things take a wild turn after Muthuvel's son goes missing.

The song 'Kaavaalaa' has already become a trendsetter.
