Rahul Roy Health Update: The ‘Aashiqui’ Actor Who Suffered Brain-Stroke To Undergo Surgery Soon
Now, according to a report of a leading daily, the actor is recovering gradually and this morning he also walked from his room to the hospital’s garden outside. The report further adds that Rahul also spoke over the phone with his family friend and producer Ashwani Kumar for almost one minute.
Ashwani Kumar confirmed the same and told TOI, “Rahul has started eating also: he's on a light diet to begin with. There is a small clot that is still there, it will be dissolved with thinners. Of course the entire process will take time but so far so good.”
The actor’s brother-in-law Romneer Sen also told the publication that, “I am happy with Rahul's progress. He should be back amidst his fans soon.”
Earlier Romneer also dismissed the reports of stenting and said, “Stenting is not required as of now. I am also in touch with a top neurosurgeon in Kolkata and even he has said Rahul is showing ominous signs of recovery.”
The exact reason of the stroke cannot be ascertained but seemingly, the high altitudes where the temperature was -15 degrees during the shoot got to Rahul and he initially started to feel a little lost and confused, following which he was unable to form sentences (a condition called Aphasia).
Rahul Roy participated in the first season of the popular reality show 'Bigg Boss'. He defeated Ravi Kishan and Carol Gracis to lift the winner's trophy. The 'Dilwale Kabhi Na Hare' actor joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2017.
