Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Did Not Take Nick Jonas Seriously In Her Interview With Oprah Winfrey

Though Priyanka Chopra has achieved a lot in her life, she had not been very lucky in her love life until she met her husband Nick Jonas who ‘swept-eted’ her off her feet.

New Delhi: After Meghan Markle and Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey went viral, people have been eagerly waiting for Priyanka Chopra’s interview with the famous talk show host. The interview is going to air next week and, in the glimpses, shared by Oprah on her page, Priyanka Chopra Jonas can be seen opening up about her life and her relationship with husband Nick Jonas.

Though the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress has achieved a lot in her life, she had not been very lucky in her love life until she met her husband Nick Jonas who ‘swept-eted’ her off her feet. When enquired by Oprah Winfrey, she told the talk show host, “I was really 'swept-eted” and said that it is actually the ‘right adjective’. She further revealed that she might have ‘judged the book by the cover’. Priyanka added, “ I didn’t honestly take it very seriously when Nick was texting me. I was 35, I was like I wanna get married, I wanna have kids. He’s in his twenties, I don’t know if that’s something he’d wanna do.”

Talking about her relationship with her husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka said, “He's self-assured, sensible, so excited about my achievements and my dreams.” She talked about her parent's marriage of equal partnership and said that she is happy to find that with Nick.

The ‘Mary Kom’ actress appeared in Oprah Winfrey’s show to promote her book ‘Unfinished’.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Priyanka will be next seen starring in ‘Text For You’ and ‘Matrix’.
