'Panchayat 5' Confirmed: Rinki Aka Sanvikaa Reveals Release Timeline, Here’s What To Expect

Panchayat Season 4 premiered early on Prime Video, exciting fans with its humour and character development. Sanvikaa revealed that writing for Panchayat Season 5 has begun.

The much-awaited Panchayat Season 4 officially premiered on Prime Video on June 24, much to the delight of fans. The series was initially scheduled for a July 2 release but dropped earlier than expected, sparking a wave of excitement among its growing fan base. The trailer promised more of the signature wit, humour and emotional depth that viewers have come to love.

With major story arcs like Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) vs. Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) and the developing love story between Rinki (Sanvikaa) and Sachiv Ji (Jitendra Kumar), Season 4 brought fresh twists and character evolution.

During an interview with OTTplay, Sanvikaa, who plays the character of Rinki in the series, shared insights into the release date change and revealed early details about Panchayat Season 5.

Panchayat Season 5 Officially in Progress, Confirms Sanvikaa

Adding to the excitement, Sanvikaa confirmed that Panchayat Season 5 is indeed in development.

Sharing details about the timeline, she said: "The process for Panchayat Season 5 has begun, and hopefully, maybe by mid-next year or sometime in next year, it will be released. And we are likely to begin the shoot for season 5, maybe at the end of this year or next year, so writing has started. So once the writing is done, we will start shooting."

What To Expect In Panchayat Season 4

The new season promises an engaging political battle in the village of Phulera. With tensions running high between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi, audiences can look forward to high-stakes drama and fresh twists as villagers and leaders clash over control and power.

Staying true to its roots, the latest season of Panchayat brings back the beloved ensemble cast, including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha. The familiar faces promise to deliver the same warmth, humor, and relatable storytelling that have made the series a fan favorite.

Panchayat Season 4 is produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), with creative direction by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar. The series is written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra alongside Akshat Vijaywargiya.
