New Delhi: Popular Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed, known for his roles in 'Bin Roye' and 'Mere Pass Tum Ho' among others, has voiced his opinion on the ongoing Seema Haider and Sachin Meena news, that has been garnering everyone's attention these days. Talking about love across borders, the actor said that all this keeps happening and it's not a big deal.

During an exclusive interaction with ABP Live, Humayun Saeed talked about the case and said, "I have very good friends in India who fell in love and got married, their wives are Pakistanis. In Pakistan too, there are many women whose husbands are Indians. There are many people who have relatives in India. All this keeps happening."

The actor also shared that though he has been born and brought up in Karachi, his father shares a special bond with India as he was born in Indore during the pre-partition era.

Talking about social media and its impact in making any news spread like wildfire, Humayun shared his thoughts, "In the age of social media, any colour can be given to a news. If someone says something wrong, it is highlighted more whereas the positive thing that happens is suppressed. I would say that this is all nonsense," he said.

During his interaction with ABP News, Humayun also went to share his thoughts on the ban of artists in India and Pakistan and how there should be camaraderie between artists across borders. He also shared that artists of both countries want to work together but due to political situations, they cannot.

The actor says, "If the event is happening here, Salman, Shah Rukh, Akshay should come, get respect. If I go there, I will get respect. If it is not possible to work together, then it does not matter. But we should not stop meeting each other. It is more important that we can appreciate each other's work."

Humayun Saeed is one of the most popular actors of the Pakistani film industry. His blockbuster drama 'Mere Pass Tum Ho' starring Ayeza Khan, Hira Mani and Adnan Siddiqui is all set to be telecasted in INdia on Zindagi channel from August 2.
