'Kota Factory' Season 3 has become a hit ever since it was released. The series which shows a realistic depiction of student life in Kota has resonated with the audience to a large extent. The third season deals with more intricate issues, like mental health problems that both students and teachers deal with- showing that we are all humans and teachers also need not always have to be perfect. Apart from selections and celebrations, the show also depicts the emotion of a student who is not able to make it despite all the hard work and struggle. With messages like 'Taiyaari Hi Jeet Hai', the show depicts 'Yeh jo success hai na, ye failure ke aage kahin humara intezaar kar rahi hoti hai...'

The show's main cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ahsaas Channa, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, Ranjan Raj, and Urvi Singh, along with Tillotama Shome, who starred in the third season, to essay the role of Pooja Didi.

Revathi Pillai On Her Experience In Kota Factory

"I have learned so much, I have experienced so much," said Revathi who was extremely happy to be a part of this show. Talking about her audition days, she recalled, "I randomly got a call one day, just like every other audition, saying that there is a show like this and I was given no brief that it will be in black and white. Although I had done a show for TVF before, TVF just gives that family feeling to you, and it's like going back and working with your family."

In the show, Revathi played the role of Vartika, who is Vaibhav's girlfriend. Interestingly, she had auditioned both for Shivangi and Vartika.

She said, "I auditioned for Shivangi and Vartika, but I just resonated more with Vartika's character and I just feel I am more Vartika."

Talking about her preparation, Revathi said that it was a very long process where they had seen documentaries of Kota students and their lives.

"Until then I didn't know, I knew the city existed but I didn't know what happens there and it is the coaching hub over there. I didn't know all that, but then I got the call and then the rest is history," she added.

Her Memories In Kota:

Kota has become an important part of their lives after shooting for three seasons. The entire cast has spent many happy days in the educational hub and has come back with a lot of memories.

Talking about her experience, Revathi said, "The first season when we went, Kota was very sad. I went by train and as soon as I stepped in Kota, the station, I could only see hoardings of AIR-1 and JEE, NEET and IIT and I was like, no, you can't be serious, because it is so absurd as here we see something about sarees or something about a house on the hoardings. That is what we are used to. Those are the advertisements we see here, we see movie posters... There is nothing of that sort over there. There is only IIT, coaching hubs and I don't know, everything of that sort."

"Then in season two, we got used to it because, earlier in season one, we were just getting to know each other. We couldn't explore much, but we did go to the basic places, the Seven Wonder Park, City Mall and all. In season two, after our shoot, Mayur stayed back for a good 15-20 days and he called me one day from there saying that we hadn't explored Kota. We have to come here. This is insane. This place is beautiful and I was like, are you sure?" she went on to say.

"In Season 3, by the time we went there last year, they had beautified Kota to another level. They have made it into a very touristy place, and I'm glad if 'Kota Factory' is the reason for it. Everywhere you go, there are lights. You feel that the students also have something to look forward to when they have off days or when they want to take a small break. It's not just studies. They can have that fresh breath of oxygen. So, this time we went and we were like okay, this is beautiful. I think now one of our favourite places has to be Kota."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Revathi is excited about her upcoming projects and has a lot to look forward to. There are franchises of her existing shows coming up along with a Malayalam movie that is to be released.
