NCB Questions Bharti Singh And Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s Staff After Their Arrest

New Delhi: Comedian Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa have been arrested on November 21 (Saturday) under the charges of consumption of drugs. Reportedly, the couple has accepted that they consumed ‘ganja’ and will be produced before the court on Sunday (November 22). Sameer Wankhede, Zonal NCB director told PinkVilla, “There are some people who are being looked at and members of her staff are also being investigated and questioned by the NCB.” Sameer Wankhede also confirmed ANI, “Charges of Consumption of drugs have been invoked against them.”

The drug law enforcement agency conducted a raid at Bharti and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa's house in Mumbai on November 21. The couple arrived at the NCB office after receiving a summon for questioning. Bharti was arrested after 5 hours of interrogation by the NCB. Meanwhile, the NCB has grilled several tinsel town celebs including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, and Firoz Nadiadwala in connection with its probe into the alleged Bollywood drugs case. Firoz's wife Shabana was arrested and later granted bail after narcotics substances were recovered from her house. The agency had earlier also arrested Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty under various sections of the NDPS Act in September 2020. The 'Chehre' actress was granted bail last month on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. She stayed in Mumbai's Byculla Jail for nearly a month for allegedly procuring and financing drugs for the 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' actor.
