Celebrities from various walks of life have shared their perceptions of Mumbai's safety at present and have also recalled memories of those dark times.

New Delhi: The Mumbai Terror attacks of 26/11 have probably been the worst days Mumbai had seen. Celebrities from various walks of life have shared their perceptions of Mumbai's safety at present and have also recalled memories of those dark times.

Talking about life in Mumbai after the terror attacks producer and actor Namita Lal told Tribune, "Mumbai is safe and happening. The city is always on the move. I travel a lot within Mumbai and across India and I feel safest in Mumbai. What happened on 26/11 can happen anywhere. It’s your destiny to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Recalling the Mumbai terror attacks Siddharth Bodke told Outlook, "It's been 14 years since this incident, and I think Indians will never forget this incident because that was the worst memory that everyone wants to delete. I was in Nashik, I'm from Nashik. So those 2-3 days, it was a horrible experience for everyone. Everyone was watching that on TV. "

He further added, "And after 2 or 3 years when I shifted to Mumbai for my career, I was a bit scared because Mumbai is a big city and a lot of things happen here or have happened but this city is so beautiful."

Taking about the safety in Mumbai he said, "This city has accepted me in a way that I can't live without it and there's no other city or country in the world where I feel this safe. There's no such fear living here because I believe in our system and Mumbai Police. It's a place where we can go out anytime without any fear. So it's a very safe and Liberal city. I just hope that we don't get to see this ever again."

Twitter is also flooded by posts from various celebrities and stars who have remembered all the victims of the dreadful terror attacks.

Abhishek Bachchan has written that the day should never be forgotten.

Akshay Kumar has also tweeted, "Remembering the innocent victims and these brave hearts of the Mumbai Terror Attack who laid down their lives 14 years ago on 26/11. Never Forget."

Raveena Tandon has also tweeted, "Never Forgive. Never Forget. 26/11"

Ten Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan landed in Mumbai via the sea on November 26, 2008, and after a 60-hour siege, they killed 166 people—including 18 security personnel—and injured numerous others.  There were also 26 foreign nationals among the dead.
