Zoya Akhtar Picks Fawad Khan over Hrithik Roshan for her next!

Director Zoya Akhtar wanted to rope in Hrithik Roshan alongside Ranveer Singh for her next film. Nevertheless, reports started doing the rounds that the actor has declined to come on board for the movie. Instead, Zoya has now decided to sign Fawad Khan for the film. Initially, there were reports that due to Hrithik's hectic schedule, the actor does not have dates for Zoya Akhtar's next. However, another reason has cropped up regarding Hrithik's sudden exit from the project. If reports are to be believed, then Hrithik did not want to work in a project with two heroes. But Hrithik's loss has become Fawad's gain as the filmmaker has decided to bring Fawad on board. As per a source on Bollywoodlife, “She loved Fawad in Kapoor & Sons and decided to work with him right after watching the film. However, she never had him in mind while writing this film. When Hrithik said no, she was in need for a dashing hero who could also act well. Fawad totally fit the bill.” The source adds, “Zoya has briefed Fawad about the basic premise of the film and the two will meet soon and take their discussion forward.” One thing is for sure! The fans will be excited to see Ranveer and Fawad shared the screen space.
