Zomato's Hilarious Dig On Vicky-Katrina's Wedding: 'Security Was Tight But We Still Got Pictures'

Zomato had earlier playfully trolled Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal on their wedding.

New Delhi: Bollywood stars Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have been hogging all the limelight ever since rumours about their marriage hit the internet. Their wedding became the talk of the town as the couple never confirmed their relationship even when gossip mills continued to churn out stories about them. VicKat, as fondly called by fans, finally tied the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara in a traditional ceremony on Thursday (December 9). 

Zomato Takes Dig At VicKat, Leaks 'Rajasthan Wedding Pictures' Amid 'Tight Security' 

While netizens are gushing over Vicky and Katrina’s wedding pictures, several brands are busy congratulating the newly married couple in style. They made special posters and videos to wish the two lovebirds as they start a new innings together. Some brands went the extra mile to draw attention to their own offering. 

A day after Katrina and Vicky released their wedding photos, Zomato sent notifications to users, stating that they have got ‘pictures of the biggest stars’ at the ceremony. The food delivery brand sent the mailer along with the subject- ‘Leaked: Wedding Pictures’.  

"We were invited to a wedding in Rajasthan. Security was tight but we still got pictures of the biggest stars there-all thanks to Viral Biryani," the message read. There's no prize for guessing that the 'biggest stars' are the mouth-watering delicacies.

Ahead of their wedding, speculations were rife that the couple took strict measures to ensure privacy. It was said that they requested their guests to not share photos from the ceremony on social media. Zomato took a hilarious dig at the couple in its notification by mentioning that it managed to get the pictures despite the security.  

Ahead of VicKat's Rajasthan wedding, the food delivery service provider shared a witty post and playfully trolled the couple. Check out the spoof post and Zomato's reaction to it.

The social media managers of Zomato, Durex and Dominos deserve a salary raise as they shared cheeky posts to celebrate Katrina and Vicky’s grand wedding. Keeping up with its tradition of posting cheeky wishes, the official Instagram page of Durex India shared a sassy message for the duo.  

 "Dear Vicky and Katrina, you have to be kidding, if we are not invited," the wedding meme shared on the page read. The word ‘kidding’ was mentioned in bold. 

The official Twitter handle of Tinder India posted a message to wish Katrina and Vicky on their wedding. The tweet read, "May you all find the Vicky to your Katrina."
