New Delhi: Amid swirling rumors on social media, speculation has been rife regarding the potential casting of actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sai Pallavi, and Shruti Haasan alongside Yash in the film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups.' However, responding to the speculations, the film's makers issued a statement on Saturday urging everyone to refrain from jumping to conclusions.


In their statement, they addressed the circulating theories about the casting, emphasizing the need to avoid speculation. The makers expressed gratitude for the enthusiasm surrounding "Toxic" but stressed that the casting process is nearing completion. They expressed satisfaction with the team assembled for the project and urged patience for official announcements as they prepare to bring the story to life.

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups" is a collaborative effort between KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Scheduled for theatrical release on April 10, 2025, the film was initially teased by Yash in December 2023 with an Instagram post unveiling its title. The post, accompanied by a quote from Rumi, hinted at the film's mature and mysterious narrative, offering a glimpse of Yash's character with a distinctive appearance featuring a hat and a cigar.


 






Described as an action-packed thriller set against the backdrop of the drug mafia, "Toxic" has piqued the interest of fans, especially following Yash's rise to fame with the successful "KGF" franchise. Anticipation is high among audiences eager to see Yash's portrayal in this intriguing cinematic venture.
