ABP Live review of the film reads as, "Randeep Hooda's portrayal of Savarkar is commendable, showcasing a remarkable transformation that might astonish viewers familiar with his previous roles in films like 'Highway,' 'Kick,' or 'Murder 3.' His performance triggers both emotions and laughter in various scenes. Amit Siial aptly essays the role of Savarkar's elder brother, while Madan Lal as Mritnal Dutt leaves a mark with his distinct performance. Ankita Lokhande's portrayal of Yamuna Bai is fresh and engaging, although Rajesh Khattar's depiction of Mahatma Gandhi lacks depth and fails to deliver the expected impact."

'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' serves as a cinematic depiction of the life and contributions of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, a pivotal and contentious figure in India's struggle for independence, often revered as Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The film intricately narrates Savarkar's journey and the challenges he faced in the pursuit of India's freedom.

In addition to portraying the lead role, Randeep Hooda has taken on the directorial responsibilities for the project. The film also features Ankita Lokhande and Amit Sial in prominent roles. Produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, and Yogesh Rahar, with co-production by Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali, and Panchali Chakraborty, "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar" stands as a collaborative effort of notable industry names.
