Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut who is one of the leading ladies of the film industry shared a video on her social media depicting her journey in Bollywood. She penned down a long note and shared a fan-made video showing her transformation over the years.


The video showed glances of the ‘Thalaivi’ actress from various events. Sharing the video which portrays her transformation from 2006 to 2021, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “This is what growing up in the film industry looks like, I was a minor when I started working, I suffered a lot because I should have been in school studying and playing not struggling to make career that too without parents or proper understanding and guidance of film industry but it also gave me lot of time if today I feel after starting from a scratch at 16 and struggling for more than a decade to achieve success I can still start from a scratch at 34 and build my own studio and be a successful filmmaker because I have time …”

Kangana also shared a glimpse of the pre-production work at her production house Manikarnika Films for her upcoming project where she will be seen portraying the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. Sharing pictures on her official Instagram handle, the ‘Tejas’ actress wrote, “Every character is a beautiful beginning of a new journey, today we started journey of #Emergency #Indira with body, face scans and casts to get the look right. Many amazing artists get together to bring one’s vision alive on screen…. This one will be very special”.



The ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ actress will be next seen starring in ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Tejas’ and ‘Dhaakad’.
