Vivek Oberoi APOLOGISES & DELETES 'Aishwarya' meme tweet, after receiving severe backlash from all quarters!

A day after, Vivek Oberoi was slammed by social media users left, right and centre and was also slapped with notice from the National Commission Of Women, he has finally apologised for his controversial tweet.

After sparking an outrage by sharing a controversial meme on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and receiving flak from all quarters, actor Vivek Oberoi has finally apologised and deleted the tweet on Tuesday morning. This comes a day after he said that he doesn't see anything offensive in his tweet featuring Aishwarya Bachchan, her daughter Aaradhya, Abhishek Bachchan, and Salman Khan along with him, and will not apologise since he has not done anything "wrong." Says “prove me wrong, i will say sorry” But on Tuesday, Vivek tendered his apology on social media, saying that "sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others". He added that he has spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, and can't even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever. He then tweeted that:  Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies🙏🏻 tweet deleted. Earlier on Monday, Oberoi who is gearing up for his movie PM Narendra Modi had tweeted a collage of three images featuring him, Aishwarya, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya's seven-year-old daughter Aaradhya.
