Virat Kohli BEATS Shah Rukh & Salman to top the list of most valued Indian celebrity; Deepika at number two

New Delhi: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has topped the list of most valued Indian celebrity in 2018 as per the fourth edition of the report given by Duff & Phelps. The 30-year-old cricketer beat the likes of Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to emerge as the top ranked celeb for the second year in a row. Virat, who led the Indian team to a decisive victory against Australia in test series, is currently valued at USD 170.9 million. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, whose brand value is worth USD 102.5 million, has secured the number two spot in the list of most valued Indian celebs. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress endorses several brands like L’Oreal Paris, Oppo and Goibibo. Akshay Kumar, who delivered hits like ‘PadMan’, ‘Gold’ and ‘2.0’ last year, has bagged the number three spot with a brand value of USD 67.3 million. Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Deepika last year, has jumped to the number four spot. The ‘Simmba’ actor endorses brands like Vivo, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Club Factory to name a few. Ranveer, who will be next seen in ‘Gully Boy’, is currently valued at USD 63 million according to the list by Duff & Phelps. ‘Badshah’ of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, who was placed at number two in 2017, has slipped to the number five spot in 2018 with a valuation of USD 60.7 million. Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Hrithik Roshan are the other tinsel town celebs who are part of the list.
