Mumbai: The number of COVID-19 cases in India is rising with every passing day. The deadly virus has claimed over 21,000 lives in the country. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan revealed that seven of staff members including two security personnel tested positive for Coronavirus in his tweet last month. ABP News has now got to know that veteran actress Rekha’s Mumbai-based bungalow’s security guard has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Rekha lives in ‘Sea Springs’ bungalow, which is located in the bandstand area of Bandra, Mumbai. Her house is always guarded by two security personnel. One of the security guards was infected with COVID-19 a few days back. He is being treated at a COVID-19 facility in BKC, Bandra. We tried to contact Rekha for more information but didn’t get any response from her regarding the matter.

BMC officials put a notice outside Rekha’s bungalow, calling it a containment zone. They also sanitized the entire bungalow after one positive case was found.

For the uninitiated, two Bollywood celebs have lost their lives due to COVID-19.  Music director Wajid Khan passed away due to Coronavirus and kidney failure. Veteran producer Anil Suri, who made films like ‘Raaj Tilak’ and ‘Karmayogi’, also succumbed to COVID-19.

The likes of Kiran Kumar, Zoa Morani, her sister Shaza Morani and father Karim Morani have successfully recovered from COVID-19. Varun Dhawan’s aunt and director Kunal Kohli’s aunt also lost their lives in the United States due to Coronavirus.

Domestic staff members of Karan Johar, Boney Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Sophie Choudry were also infected with COVID-19. T-Series’ office was sealed after an employee working with the company tested positive for the virus.

‘Race 3’ actor Freddy Daruwalla's father and actress-singer Monica Dogra's mother have now recovered after getting treated. ‘Rock On’ fame Purab Kohli, his wife and two children have also recovered from COVID-19.
