Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu praises Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri'; Calls it inspiring!
A special screening of 'Uri' was organised in New Delhi where Vice President M Venakaiah Naidu watched the much-acclaimed film along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police.
Filmmaker Aditya Dhar's recent release 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', featuring Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, seems to have brought out the josh in all the Indians. The film, which hit the theatres on 11th January earlier this month, has surpassed all expectations by crossing Rs 150 crores and is still doing well at the Box-office. Yesterday (29th January), a special screening of 'Uri' was organised in New Delhi where Vice President M Venakaiah Naidu watched the much-acclaimed film along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police.

After watching 'Uri', the Vice President took to his official Twitter account to appreciated the film and posted few pictures from the screening as well. He wrote, "Happy to have watched the movie 'Uri-Surgical Strikes' today along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police Personnel who guard the Vice President's Residence in New Delhi. It was an inspiring movie. I congratulate the cast & crew of #Urimovie for showcasing the valour of #IndianArmy."

‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is based on the 2016 Indian Army's surgical strikes in PoK following the terrorist attack in Jammu &Kashmir’s Uri town. Vicky Kaushal, who played the role of Major Vihan Singh Shergill, received critical acclaim for his performance. The ‘Masaan’ star has established himself as one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. 'Uri' also marked the Hindi film debut of popular TV actor Mohit Raina and also features Yami Gautam in an important role.Happy to have watched the movie 'Uri-Surgical Strikes' today along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police Personnel who guard the Vice President's Residence in New Delhi.
