New Delhi: Two young men on Thursday stormed into Mannat, home of actor Shah Rukh Khan. According to a report, the Mumbai Police stated that the men were caught by security personnel after they broke into Mannat's premises by scaling the outer wall.
The men, who were between the ages of 19 and 20, were grabbed by the security guards on duty after they had entered the bungalow's premises, according to a Bandra police official. They stated that they were from Gujarat and had travelled there to meet Shah Rukh when the police were investigating. They were charged with trespassing and other pertinent charges under the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) and further investigation was underway, the official added.
According to a source close to the actor, who verified the incident to ETimes, said,"When the fans jumped into the Mannat compound, SRK was away shooting for Jawan. This happened on Wednesday late night. SRK came back home later during the early hours of Thursday and went off to sleep. After that, the Mannat security staff caught the two fans who were hiding in the premises."
Days before, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a FIR was filed against Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan. According to section 409 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Criminal Code, a case has been filed against her (IPC). Jaswant Shah, a resident of Mumbai, filed the case, alleging that the company—for which Gauri served as the brand ambassador—failed to deliver the apartment despite charging Rs 86 lakh.
The complaint claimed that the apartment in Lucknow's Sushant Golf City's Tulsiyani Golf View had been given to someone else. Shah filed the complaint, alleging he had paid the full price for the apartment but hadn't received ownership.
At the moment, Shah Rukh is enjoying the success of 'Pathaan', which has set numerous box office records. The movie has amassed Rs 1000 crore at the global box office. The action-packed movie also starred John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
