Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 5: Salman Khan Starrer Action Flick To Cross Rs 200 Crore Mark In India
'Tiger 3', the sequel to 2017's 'Tiger Zinda Hai', is based on the events of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'.
New Delhi: 'Tiger 3', starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is not doing well at the box office after grossing a record-breaking Rs 44.5 crore on its opening day. Sacnilk.com predicts that the action flick will make more than Rs 14 crore on its first Thursday. But 'Tiger 3', directed by Maneesh Sharma, is getting closer to earning Rs 200 crore in India.
Tiger 3 brought in Rs 44.5 crore [ Rs 43 crore in Hindi, Rs 1.3 crore in Telugu, and Rs 2 lakh in Tamil] on Sunday, Rs59 crore [Rs58 crore in Hindi, Rs 78 lakh in Telugu, and Rs 22 lakh in Tamil] on Monday, and Rs44 crore [ Rs 43.5 crore in Hindi, Rs 4 lakh in Telugu, and Rs 1 lakh in Tamil] on Tuesday. It made Rs 21.1 crore [ Rs 20.5 crore in Hindi, Rs 5 lakh in Telugu, and Rs 1 lakh in Tamil] on Wednesday. On its fifth day (Thursday), 'Tiger 3' made about Rs 14.71 crore nett in India across all languages. So far, the film has earned Rs 183.86 crore.
The ABP Live review of the film read, "The plot of the sequel follows Tiger and Zoya, who are now married and have a son, as they head on a mission together. However, the entire plot of 'Tiger 3' centers on Emraan Hashmi, an old foe who is ravenous for vengeance and eager for bloodshed. More than anything, the movie explored the intricacies of spies' lives as well as duty and dignity. The movie focused more on the intricacies of spies' lives, duty, and honor. With this installment, the Salman Khan film becomes unexpectedly more touching and intimate."
