New Delhi: Salman Khan’s much-awaited film 'Tiger 3' is all set to release in theatres on Diwali. As Tiger, the spy, the actor will make a comeback in the franchise film. The film has sparked a great deal of excitement among viewers, as shown by the advance bookings.


Although the movie is being released on Diwali, single screens and national chains have high hopes for the film. Trade insiders and industry professionals are full of expectations for the movie and the record that the Salman Khan starrer will break.


Throwing light on the same trade expert and exhibitor, Akshaye Rathi said, "The advance bookings for Tiger 3 are quite encouraging. Single screens are showing positive signs, and be it national chains or single screens, both are quite sure about the kind of response they are witnessing despite the fact that the film is Laxmi Pujan release day, when the nation is busy with festivals".


"There will be a healthy Diwali at the box office on Diwali day, and this business can get multiplied from the second day onwards, which is considered a favourable day for the film business," he added.


Meanwhile, the advance booking of the film had opened on Sunday and within three days, almost 3 lakh tickets have been sold of over 10,000 shows, collecting over Rs 8 crore.

'Tiger 3' features Salman Khan in the lead alongside Katrina Kaif. Produced by Aditya Chopra, 'Tiger 3' is a sequel to ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The trailer showed Emraan Hashmi as an antagonist and some intense action sequences. It also features Kumud Mishra, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra, and Anant Vidhaat. The film, helmed by Maneesh Sharma, will be released in cinemas on November 12, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
