New Delhi: The trailer of the much-awaited film ‘Thalaivi’ launched earlier today. The biopic led by Kangana Ranaut is based on the life of actor and politician J Jayalalithaa who served six terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The trailer offers a sneak peek into the life of the legendary personality and Kangana can be seen acing the role with perfection.


However, at the trailer launch event of ‘Thalaivi’, Kangana broke down while speaking about the director of the film, A. L. Vijay.

The ‘Dhaakad’ actress also shared the video on her Twitter and wrote, “I call myself Babbar Sherni cause I never cry I never give anyone the privilege of making me cry, don’t remember when I cried last but today I cried and cried and cried and it feels so good #ThalaiviTrailer”.



In the video, Kangana can be seen saying that she has never met a man in her life who has not made her feel bad about her talent. She further added that she feels so emotional and she is generally not like this in her life. But this person has made me feel good about my ability. She concluded by saying that as a director, she has learnt how to treat his actors and take the creative partnership forward.


Meanwhile, other than ‘Thalaivi’, Kangana will be next seen starring in ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’.
