Teachers' Day 2021: Madhuri Dixit, Kiara Advani & Other B-Town Celebs Pay Tribute To Their Teachers

Mumbai: Several Bollywood celebs including Madhuri Dixit, Kriti Sanon, Esha Deol and Taapsee Pannu expressed gratitude towards their teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2021. The tinsel town stars thanked their teachers for playing an important role in their lives. They acknowledged the contribution of their teachers in their success and penned heartfelt posts for them on social media.

Madhuri, who is currently seen as a judge on ‘Dance Deewane 3’, wrote, “Today on this special occasion I want to thank all the teachers who have given us many important lessons about our lives. Let's together celebrate this day and show our gratitude towards our teachers.”

Taapsee Pannu, who will be seen as a cricketer in ‘Shabhaash Mithu’, tweeted, “Behind every fearless player, there is a fearless coach! Thank you @NooshinKhadeer or bringing out the best in me.”

Kiara Advani, who is basking in the success of 'Shershaah', wrote, "Happy Teachers Day to all the teachers out there who have shaped us and inspired us to be who we are today!"

"A big thank you to all the gurus who’ve taught me life lessons. While everyday is teachers' day for me, let's celebrate today with a thanks and a salute! To life," Suniel Shetty tweeted. The 'Hera Pheri' thanked his guru for teaching him life lessions on social media.

Music composer Shekhar Ravjianii wrote, "Thank you for never letting learning stop even when the world came to a standstill. Our children have continued to grow and learn because of your love and dedication. Thank you for being the light."

Teachers’ Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Indian President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He strongly believed that ‘teachers should be the best minds in the country.’
