Taapsee Pannu REACTS to her engagement rumours

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is gearing up for the release of her much-awaited film ‘Mulk’. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours of her secret engagement with a badminton player. It was rumoured that the ‘Pink’ actress will get hitched soon and her parents were headed to Goa to find a suitable groom for their daughter. Taapsee took to Twitter to squash all the speculations and said that there’s no truth to the rumours. The ‘Judwaa 2’ star slammed all the marriage rumours and said that her parents haven’t visited Goa since the last 10 years. “Really! Strange I was let invited to my own engagement… and just so u know my parents haven’t visited Goa since past 10 years… unless u think I got engaged 10 years back,’’ Taapsee wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Taapsee, who has been appreciated for her performance as Harpeet in Shaad Ali’s ‘Soorma’, will next be seen in the power-packed role of a defence lawyer Aarti Malhotra in ‘Mulk’. The trailer of the Anubhav Sinha directorial has managed to create anticipation among the movie buffs. The film releases on August 3. ( Taapsee in Soorma) Other than ‘Mulk’, the talented actress will be seen in Manmarziyaan, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. The film, which has been directed by Anurag Basu, will hit the silver screens on September 14. The ‘Baby’ actress is also reuniting with her ‘Pink’ co-star Amitabh Bachchan for the film ‘Badla.  The Sujoy Ghosh directorial is slated to release on Women’s Day next year. Taapsee has been shooting non-stop, all thanks to her jam-packed schedule. Other than the Hindi films, the diva will also be seen in ‘Neevevaroo’ ( Telugu) and ‘Kaan’ (Tamil). On the personal front, the actress recently moved into her new house in the western suburbs of Mumbai. Watch this space for more updates!
