New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left a void in the hearts of millions of people by committing suicide on Sunday (June 14). The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor ended his life by hanging himself at his apartment. The tragic news of his death sent shock waves across the industry. Fans are still in a state of shock and they have filled social media with posts and old videos of Sushant on social media.


Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande was snapped outside Ekta Kapoor’s house on Tuesday evening. Ankita and Sushant became household names after playing the respect roles of Archana and Manav in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’.

We had earlier informed you that a prayer meet will be organized for the ‘Raabta’ actor. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Ekta Kapoor will hold prayer meet for him on June 18. Prominent names from the entertainment industry are expected to attend it.

"Invites are being made and will be circulated soon. Many known faces from the entertainment industry are said to be attending the prayer meet," a source told SpotboyE.



Ankita Lokhande also visited Sushant’s family members at his residence in Bandra. The ‘Manikarnika’ actress looked devastated and could barely walk without support. She was accompanied by producer Ssandeep Singh and her mother.

Ekta strongly reacted to the news report and said that she is upset as a case has been filed against her when she was the one, who launched Sushant in TV industry.

“Thanku for the case for not casting sushi....when Actually I LAUNCHED HIM. I’m beyond upset at how convoluted theories can b! Pls@let family n frns mourn in peace! Truth shall@prevail,” the ‘Naagin 5’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ producer wrote.



Talking about Sushant, the actor’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ was slated to hit the silver screens in May 2020. However, the movie got delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
